Soft Blue-Lilac Underglaze for Delicate Ceramic Decoration
Wisteria Cromartie Colours Underglaze adds a very pale, cool blue-lilac fired colour to ceramic decoration. The supplied sample shows a soft, understated tone that works well when a lighter purple-blue is wanted for subtle areas of colour, fine painted details or gentle contrast within a broader fired palette.
The 59ml size provides a smaller quantity for projects where Wisteria is used selectively or for testing the colour before committing to more material. It can be fired from Cone 06 to Cone 6, although stoneware firing at Cone 6 can create colour changes, so test first when matching the expected shade closely matters.
- Suitable for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering
- Can be combined with Cromartie Crystals and other ceramic glazes
- For traditional Majolica techniques, apply over an opaque, non-moving glaze
