Creative Ceramic Decoration with BOTZ Unidekor

BOTZ Unidekor underglazes are ceramic colours for adding painted decoration, detailed patterns and colourful designs to pottery and ceramic work. Available in a varied selection of 24 colours, the range includes bright shades, rich tones and useful neutrals supplied in 200ml pots.

BOTZ Unidekor colours can be used as underglaze, on-glaze or in-glaze colours. They can also be mixed with one another along the colour wheel, while BOTZ Unidekor 4009 White can be used to create pastel colours.

Application & Firing Guide

  • Firing range: 1000–1250°C
  • Application: can be used as an underglaze, on-glaze or in-glaze ceramic colour
  • Colour mixing: BOTZ Unidekor colours can be mixed with each other along the colour wheel
  • Pastel colours: use with BOTZ Unidekor 4009 White to create pastel colours
  • Airbrush technique: suitable for airbrush use when undiluted
  • Marbling technique: can be used on watered or fired clay and biscuit when diluted slightly
  • Finish: the range includes glossy and satin-glossy colours; please check the individual product details
  • Pack size: 200ml
  • Colour note: 4003 Wine, 4005 Chrome Green and 4015 Fern Green lose colour intensity from 1100°C onwards
