Bright Yellow Underglaze for Kiln-Fired Ceramic Decoration
Limon Cello Cromartie Colours underglaze adds a bright lemon-yellow note to ceramic decoration, giving painted motifs, graphic details and layered designs a lively point of contrast. The supplied colour sample shows a strong yellow area with lighter sections, making this colour useful where you want a clear, energetic accent to remain visually prominent within the finished ceramic design.
Choose this underglaze when you want kiln-fired painted colour that can be covered with a clear glaze rather than a non-fired surface finish. Use it on earthenware bisque and follow the stated clear-glaze firing workflow. At Cone 6 stoneware temperatures the colour can change, so test the result at your intended firing before using it across an important piece.
- Suitable for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering
- Can be combined with Cromartie Crystals and other ceramic glazes
- Suitable for traditional Majolica techniques over an opaque, non-moving glaze
