FAQs

Can I run a 13 A kiln from a normal domestic socket?
Yes — Eco Hobbytech models are designed for a standard UK 13 A fused plug (230 V). Use a fixed wall socket (no extension leads), keep clearances as specified and ensure good ventilation. If you’re unsure about your supply, consult a qualified electrician.
Is this a good first kiln?
Definitely. The compact top-loading format and digital controller make it ideal for small batch firings and test tiles — a smart first step into ceramic kilns.
How do I pre-order?
