Mr Grey Cromartie Colours Underglaze gives ceramic decoration a soft grey fired colour that works well when a quieter neutral is needed alongside stronger shades. It is a useful choice for subtle shading, monochrome details, understated backgrounds and designs where a restrained grey provides contrast without dominating the finished piece.
This 59ml size suits smaller projects, detailed colour work and occasional use. Mr Grey can be applied through several decorative techniques before clear glazing, making it a versatile neutral within a pottery colour palette. At Cone 6, the fired colour can change, so testing first is sensible when achieving a particular shade is important.
