Soft Pale Blue Underglaze for Gentle Ceramic Colour
Powder Blue Cromartie Colours Underglaze gives ceramic decoration a soft, pale blue fired colour, as shown in the supplied sample. Its light blue tone suits areas where a quieter colour is preferred to a deeper or more saturated blue, while still providing enough definition for brushwork, layered decoration and contrasting details.
This 59ml variant provides a smaller quantity for colour testing, detailed decorating and projects where only a modest amount of Powder Blue is required. The firing range extends into stoneware temperatures, where colour changes can occur, so test the fired result first when matching a particular shade is important.
- Suitable for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering
- Can be combined with Cromartie Crystals and other ceramic glazes
- For traditional Majolica techniques, apply over an opaque, non-moving glaze
