Soft Warm Beige Underglaze for Subtle Fired Decoration
Skinny Dip Cromartie Colours Underglaze produces a soft warm beige-peach fired colour that gives ceramic decoration a restrained, natural-looking tone. It works well for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering when you want a lighter colour that can sit comfortably alongside stronger shades or form part of a softer fired palette.
The 59ml variant provides a smaller quantity for detailed or occasional ceramic decorating work. For the standard earthenware process, apply it to Cone 04 bisque before covering with clear glaze. The firing range extends to Cone 6, but stoneware firing at this temperature can create colour changes, so testing is worthwhile when the final shade matters.
- Suitable for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering
- Can be combined with Cromartie Crystals and other ceramic glazes
- For Majolica techniques, apply over an opaque, non-moving glaze
