Warm Orange Underglaze for Layered Ceramic Decoration
Marmalade Orange Cromartie Colours underglaze adds a warm, lively orange to ceramic decoration. The supplied fired sample shows a rich marmalade-orange surface with softer colour around raised detail, making it useful for bold painted areas, contrasting motifs and decorative work where a warmer orange is wanted rather than a pale peach tone.
Choose Marmalade Orange for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layered colour, or combine it with Cromartie Crystals and other ceramic glazes. It can also be used for traditional Majolica decoration over an opaque, non-moving glaze. Cone 6 stoneware firing can alter the colour, so test the intended firing and glaze combination when matching a particular result matters.
