Ceramic Kilns

Cromartie has designed and manufactured ceramic kilns for use in painting pottery studios, ceramic cafés, schools, potteries and hobby ceramic studios for almost 70 years. Our kilns can be found worldwide, and have been credited with giving first class service year after year.

Each one of our ceramic kilns is subjected to the most rigorous testing & quality control prior to despatch to ensure that the finished product arrives with you ready to give you years of perfect service.

Be it top or front loading, every one of our ceramic kilns has positive controls using the very latest in digital technology.

Front Loading Kilns

Our range of Front Loading Ceramic Kilns are manufactured in the UK and are made with high grade insulation bricks and secondary board to increase thermal efficiency. The front face is made from hard insulation bricks to avoid damage caused by knocks and bumps during loading. These ceramic kilns carry a 24-month guarantee excluding elements and heat fuse. We have many sizes available to suit your needs- please click the link above for full details on the models available.

Top Loading Kilns

The Cromartie KilnMaster series of Top Loading Kilns come complete with Automatic KilnMaster Controller and are capable of being programmed in Ramp/Dwell or Cone mode. They are suitable for ceramics and glass firing alike. You have the option to choose simple or elaborate programs to suit the work to hand or Cromartie will pre-program the controller to your specific instructions. These kilns also have a well thought out sectional design, so they can be delivered to the most challenging of sites -so stairs, cellars and narrow doorways do not need to present a problem!
