Deep Blue Underglaze for Detailed Ceramic Decoration
Midnight Blue Cromartie Colours Underglaze adds a deep, saturated blue to kiln-fired ceramic decoration. The fired sample shows a dark navy-blue colour with lighter blue visible across the raised design, making this shade useful for strong contrast, background colour, outlines and layered decorative work.
The 59ml size is a practical choice for colour testing, detailed brushwork and smaller areas where less material is needed. It also suits building a varied fired-colour palette without committing to a larger volume. Cone 6 stoneware firing can change the colour, so test first when reproducing a particular fired shade is important.
- Suitable for brushwork and layered colour
- Can be used for sgraffito and sponged decoration
- Suitable for traditional Majolica techniques over an opaque, non-moving glaze
