Soft Blush-Pink Underglaze for Detailed Ceramic Decoration
Shell Pink Cromartie Colours Underglaze produces a soft, warm blush-pink fired colour, giving ceramic decoration a gentler alternative to stronger pink or red accents. Its light shell-like tone works well for controlled brushwork, delicate details, softer background areas and layered designs where the pink needs to sit comfortably alongside other fired colours.
Choose Shell Pink when you want a restrained pink within a wider ceramic colour palette rather than a highly saturated statement colour. The range can be fired from Cone 06 to Cone 6, although stoneware firing at Cone 6 can change the colour, so test the intended glaze and firing combination before using it across important or repeated work.
- Suitable for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering
- Can be combined with Cromartie Crystals and other ceramic glazes
- For Majolica techniques, apply over an opaque, non-moving glaze
