Crackle Glazes

Milton Bridge Crackle Glazes for Pottery

Milton Bridge crackle glazes are earthenware pottery glazes for creating decorative crackle glaze effects on ceramic work. Supplied in 250ml jars, this range is designed for potters, studios and makers looking for textured fired finishes with visible crackle surface detail.

These crackle glazes fire at earthenware temperatures, with a recommended firing range of 1020°C–1100°C, Cone 05–03. They are made from industry-standard, high-quality materials used by tableware and sanitary ware manufacturers.

The glaze recipe does not contain clay, so the glaze may appear more fluid than some other brands. Instead, an optimal brushing medium is used to support adhesion to the ceramic body, extend shelf life, reduce settling and help the glaze deposit evenly during application.
