Subtle Crackle Colour for Earthenware Ceramics
Pearl Crackle Glaze gives earthenware pottery and ceramic pieces a pale, neutral colour with a decorative crackle pattern after firing.
The clay-free recipe may appear more fluid than some other brushing glazes. Its brushing medium supports adhesion to the ceramic body while helping to extend shelf life and reduce settling.
- Test the glaze on a sample piece before applying it to important work
- Keep glaze thickness and firing conditions consistent when comparing results
- Allow for variation when changing the clay body or firing process
Colour note: Fired colour images are a guide only. Colour reproduction, glaze thickness, clay body and kiln conditions can affect the final colour and crackle pattern.
