Ocean Sunset - Studio Line 'By the Sea' Stoneware Reactive Glaze 550ml
Ocean Sunset is a warm pink-toned Milton Bridge Studio Line 'By the Sea' reactive stoneware glaze, designed to create glowing coastal colour, glossy depth and naturally varied fired effects. This reactive stoneware glaze develops soft sunset pinks and warm shoreline tones in the kiln, giving pottery pieces a fresh, atmospheric finish.
This colour is perfect for potters looking for a brighter, more uplifting shade within the By the Sea collection. Ocean Sunset works beautifully on mugs, bowls, vases, planters, dishes and textured stoneware, particularly where rims, carved details or surface texture can catch the reactive variation.
- Colour & finish: Warm sunset pink with glossy reactive movement and tonal variation
- Firing range: Cone 2–6, approx. 1160–1240 °C
- Best for: Coastal ceramics, decorative pottery, mugs, bowls, vases, dishes and textured stoneware
- Application: Stir well, then apply 2–3 even coats by brush, sponge or stamp, allowing each coat to dry

Please note that Ocean Sunset has a lower firing range than most colours in the By the Sea collection. Reactive glazes can vary depending on clay body, application thickness and kiln conditions, so always test first and avoid very heavy application near the foot of the piece.
