Jasper Tidepool - Studio Line 'By the Sea' Stoneware Reactive Glaze 550ml
Jasper Tidepool is a rich, earthy Milton Bridge Studio Line 'By the Sea' reactive stoneware glaze, designed to create deep coastal colour, glossy movement and naturally varied fired effects. This reactive stoneware glaze develops warm jasper brown and tidepool-inspired tones in the kiln, giving ceramic pieces a rugged, mineral-rich finish.
With its darker natural colouring, Jasper Tidepool is ideal for potters wanting a strong organic glaze with plenty of depth and character. It works beautifully on mugs, bowls, vases, planters, sculptural pieces and textured stoneware, especially where the reactive finish can break, pool and highlight surface detail.
- Colour & finish: Deep jasper brown with mineral tidepool tones and glossy reactive variation
- Firing range: Cone 4–9, approx. 1180–1280 °C
- Best for: Statement stoneware, coastal pottery, mugs, bowls, vases, planters and textured ceramics
- Application: Stir well, then apply 2–3 even coats by brush, sponge or stamp, allowing each coat to dry
- Food safety: Food safe when fired to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature

Reactive glazes can move and vary depending on glaze thickness, clay body and kiln conditions. For best results, test first and avoid applying too heavily near the foot of the piece, particularly on vertical forms.
