Speedball Studio Plus Glazes are an exciting new range of ceramic glazes designed to give artists, potters, schools and studios versatile colour options across low to mid-range firing temperatures. With core colours that fire true from Cone 06 to Cone 6, this range is ideal for creative ceramic work where reliable colour, easy application and flexible firing are important.
The Studio Plus range includes 18 core colours designed to fire true to colour from low-fire through to mid-fire temperatures, alongside 6 additional mottling colours that create attractive variegated effects at low-fire temperatures. This gives makers a flexible selection of glossy, dependable colours, plus more reactive-looking finishes for extra depth and surface interest.
Apply one coat for a more translucent finish, or two to three coats for a rich, glossy opaque result. The range has been developed to offer consistent, easy-to-achieve results, making it suitable for beginners, experienced ceramic artists, pottery painting studios and classroom environments.
