Tangerine is a bright orange Speedball Studio Plus glaze, perfect for citrus-inspired pottery, Halloween ceramics, autumn designs, children’s projects, bold decorative plates, mugs and cheerful accent details with plenty of warmth.
Tangerine is one of the speciality low-fire mottling colours in the Speedball Studio Plus glaze range. When fired at around Cone 06/05, it can produce mottled, speckled or variegated colour movement, adding lively surface interest similar to the effects found in Speedball's mid-fire glaze range.
This versatile ceramic glaze still offers flexible firing from Cone 06 to Cone 6, making it a practical choice for studios, schools, hobby potters and ceramic artists who want bold colour, decorative surface variation and wider firing options.
