Potfest Suffolk returned to Haughley Park for a brilliant summer weekend of handmade ceramics, set in the parkland around this beautiful Jacobean manor house.
Haughley Park, located just outside Stowmarket and mid-way between Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich, provided a fantastic setting for the event, with open-sided marquees, a curated line-up of makers and plenty of ceramic inspiration — plus the inevitable temptation to buy “just one more pot”!
Lots of visitors came along to see our team on the Cromartie trade stand throughout the weekend, where we had a selection of kilns, potters wheels, glazes, equipment, tools and studio essentials on display.
There were also lots of special Potfest discounts available across the stand, giving visitors the opportunity to pick up some fantastic bargains on equipment and pottery supplies. Customers went home having secured some brilliant purchases, including Cromartie Eco HobbyTech kilns and Skutt kilns.
Janene Waudby also demonstrated our purple Cromartie Premium Pottery Wheel during the event, giving visitors the chance to see the wheel being used and in action on the stand.
It was a busy and enjoyable three days at Haughley Park, and it was lovely to meet so many potters, makers and customers over the course of the weekend.

Potters attending Potfest Suffolk were invited to enter a piece in the popular Potters’ Competition, responding to the theme set for the 2026 Potfest events.
Visitors could vote for their favourite entry during the event, with the chance to win a Potfest Passport giving free entry to all Potfest events for life.
