The Fired and Inspired Pottery Festival took place at Hutchinsons Hobbs Farm in Yarm in September 2026, bringing together potters, ceramic artists, suppliers and enthusiasts for a weekend of demonstrations, workshops, talks and artisan trading.
Hosted by the team behind Pixie Pots, the festival created a friendly and welcoming setting for the ceramics community to meet, share ideas, discover new products and enjoy a weekend dedicated to pottery and clay.
Luke and Andy represented Cromartie throughout the weekend, welcoming visitors to the stand and offering advice on kilns, ceramics equipment and setting up or developing pottery studios.
The Cromartie stand featured a wide range of ceramics equipment and supplies, including kilns, potter’s wheels, glazes, pottery tools, GR Pottery Forms and drape moulds, Valentine Clays products and other studio essentials.
Visitors were also able to take advantage of show-only offers available on selected products during the festival.
Jeff from GR Pottery Forms joined us at the festival, giving hands-on demonstrations and showing visitors how GR Pottery Forms can be used to create consistent ceramic shapes and drape-moulded pieces.

Fired and Inspired offered a relaxed, creative atmosphere where makers, suppliers and visitors could share knowledge, discover new techniques and celebrate ceramics in all its forms.
We had a fabulous weekend and would like to say a huge thank you to the event organisers, everyone who stopped by the Cromartie stand and all of our customers for their continued support.
