The National Careers Challenge Grand Final 2026 took place at the Telford International Centre, bringing together around 1,000 students from schools across the UK for one of the biggest events in the academic calendar.
Delivered by The Inspirational Learning Group, the Grand Final marked the end of months of in-school challenges, where students worked on real employer-led briefs, developed ideas, built confidence, and strengthened key skills.
Simon and Christian had an incredible day at the National Careers Challenge Grand Final in Telford. It was fantastic to have a stand packed with creative activities at such a spectacular event, inspiring so many talented young people.
A huge thank you to Andy from Royal Brush for joining our own Simon and Christian on the stand. It was great to meet so many students, teachers, and industry professionals throughout the day.
On the day, students presented their ideas in a live setting, using their communication, teamwork, problem-solving and creative thinking skills to respond to real employer-led challenges.
New for 2026 was the equalex Zone, which gave students the chance to take part in short, practical one-to-one activities with employers. It added another hands-on element to the day and gave students something useful to complete, reflect on, and take away.
The event was a brilliant opportunity for young people to explore career pathways, build confidence, and experience practical learning beyond the classroom.
Cromartie was proud to be part of the 2026 Grand Final, supporting creativity, practical skills, and hands-on learning at such an exciting national event. We look forward to seeing what next year brings.
