Celebrating Ceramics returned to Waterperry Gardens for a summer weekend filled with handmade ceramics, live demonstrations, creative inspiration and the opportunity to meet talented makers from across the UK.
The Craft in Focus show brought together a carefully selected line-up of ceramic exhibitors in the beautiful Oxfordshire surroundings of Waterperry Gardens, alongside the Desire Jewellery & Silversmithing Fair.
We had a fantastic weekend at Celebrating Ceramics, surrounded by talented ceramic artists, makers and pottery enthusiasts in the beautiful grounds of Waterperry Gardens.
It was lovely to meet and chat with so many customers on the Cromartie stand. We enjoyed hearing about your studios, current projects and future plans, as well as helping visitors explore our kilns, pottery wheels, glazes, tools and studio equipment.
Plenty of customers walked away with fantastic show-only deals on kilns, potters’ wheels, ceramic glazes, equipment and other studio essentials.
The weather was beautifully sunny and absolutely scorching throughout the weekend, creating a brilliant summer atmosphere for the show. Simon captured this short video of Waterperry Gardens, the Craft in Focus event and our Cromartie trade stand.
Our stand featured a wide selection of kilns, pottery wheels, glazes, tools and studio equipment, with the Cromartie team available throughout the weekend to offer advice and answer questions from hobby potters, ceramic artists and pottery studio owners.
We were delighted to be joined by Milton Bridge, who supported us throughout the weekend with the Studio Line “By The Sea” glaze collection, created in collaboration with Keith Brymer Jones.
The popular glaze range was available at a special discounted show price, with beautifully finished cups on display so visitors could see every fired colour in the collection in person.
Ceramic artist Sara Adams of HSL Pottery also joined us and demonstrated on the Cromartie Potter’s Wheel throughout the weekend, giving visitors the chance to watch her skills and techniques up close.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand, stopped for a chat, watched the demonstrations or took advantage of one of our exclusive Celebrating Ceramics show offers.
It was a genuine pleasure meeting so many familiar faces and new customers. We hope everyone who visited enjoyed the event as much as we did, and we look forward to seeing you again at another pottery show or ceramic event soon.
