Duncan Satin Glazes for Ceramics, Pottery & Bisque

Duncan Satin Glazes are low-fire ceramic glazes for pottery, bisque and decorative ceramic work. They fire to a soft, muted satin sheen, giving pieces a gentler finish than a high-gloss glaze while still adding smooth colour and surface coverage.

Use Duncan satin glazes for solid coverage, detailed design work or Majolica-style decoration with an underglaze. Their creamy finish makes them a useful option for makers, studios and ceramic painters looking for softer fired colour on bisque.

How to Use Duncan Satin Glazes

  1. Apply to shelf Cone 04 bisque.
  2. Apply 2–3 smooth, even coats.
  3. Fire to shelf Cone 06.
  4. Clean up with water.

Always check the individual product listing before use for colour, application and suitability details. Fired results can vary depending on glaze thickness, bisque surface and firing conditions.
