Milton Bridge Studio Line Vibes Reactive Glazes

Milton Bridge Studio Line Vibes Reactive effect glazes banner – crystalline reactive finishes, Cone 06–9, food safe when used with clear glaze

NEW Vibes Reactive Crystalline Effect Glazes

Discover our Vibes Reactive Top Coats – a stunning collection of crystalline-effect glazes designed to create dramatic, flowing finishes when used over Milton Bridge stoneware glazes. These premium reactive pottery glazes are ideal for adding depth, variation, and organic movement to your ceramic work.

Specially formulated for use between 1000–1280 °C (Cone 06 to Cone 9), each glaze in the Vibes range responds uniquely depending on the firing temperature and base glaze applied beneath. At lower temperatures the effects are softer; at higher temperatures the glaze runs more freely and encourages crystalline/flowing textures, especially on vertical pieces.

Vibes glazes are intended for use with the Milton Bridge stoneware glaze range, including popular base coats like F301 White and F306 Turquoise. When layered over these, they produce beautiful, unpredictable effects that shift and react in the kiln — perfect for creative surface decoration.

These glazes are considered food-safe when used in combination with a suitable clear glaze on the interior of functional ware. For best results, we recommend applying a clear glaze from our range of food-safe clear dipping glazes.
