Cool Blue-Black Mid-Fire Pottery Glaze
Storm LoStone Mid-Fire Glaze by Valentine Clays is a cool, atmospheric blue-black shade inspired by dramatic skies and changing weather. Full of depth and character, it brings a moodier edge to the natural LoStone palette and can be used as a statement colour or alongside softer shades. Supplied in a 550ml brush-on bottle, Storm has an overall firing range of 1080°C–1220°C, with reactive effects developing between 1120°C and 1220°C.
Formulated to complement LoStone clay bodies, Storm is also suitable for compatible porcelain and earthenware bodies. It can be intermixed with any of the other LoStone Mid-Fire Glazes or layered to create different effects. When layering, apply a maximum of three coats in total.
The bottle includes a reusable inner cap that provides an additional seal to help prevent leaks and keep the glaze securely sealed between uses.
