Soft Pink and Beige Mid-Fire Pottery Glaze
Pebble LoStone Mid-Fire Glaze by Valentine Clays offers a soft pink and beige neutral inspired by naturally weathered stone. Its gentle, earthy tones complement the LoStone clay palette, providing an understated colour for decorative pottery and ceramic pieces. Supplied in a 550ml brush-on bottle, Pebble has an overall firing range of 1080°C–1220°C, with reactive effects developing between 1120°C and 1220°C.
Developed to complement LoStone clay, Pebble can also be used with compatible porcelain and earthenware bodies. It is fully intermixable with the other LoStone glazes, allowing you to explore different shades and layered effects. When layering, apply a maximum of three coats in total. The bottle includes a reusable inner cap that provides an additional seal to help prevent leaks between uses.
Pebble may show greater shade variation on LoStone Ember, Shale and Dune because of their higher iron oxide content. Application and individual firing conditions can also influence the result, so always make a test tile with your chosen clay, application and firing temperature before glazing a finished piece.
