Water-Inspired Turquoise Mid-Fire Pottery Glaze
Lagoon LoStone Mid-Fire Glaze by Valentine Clays brings a fresh
turquoise colour to ceramic surfaces, inspired by clear, calm
waters. Its cool blue character complements the greens, neutrals
and deeper shades within the LoStone glaze collection. Supplied
in a 550ml brush-on bottle, Lagoon can be used individually or
combined with other colours in the range.
Lagoon has an overall firing range of 1080°C–1220°C,
becoming reactive between 1120°C and 1220°C. Mix it with
any other LoStone Mid-Fire Glaze to explore new shades, or experiment
with layering while keeping to a maximum of three coats in total.
Developed to complement LoStone clay, it can also be used with
compatible porcelain and earthenware bodies. Always test your
chosen clay, glaze combination and firing temperature before
glazing a finished piece.
