Fresh White Mid-Fire Pottery Glaze
Snowdrop LoStone Mid-Fire Glaze by Valentine Clays is a fresh white pottery glaze inspired by the delicate flowers of early spring. Its clean colour provides contrast against darker clay bodies and complements the softer shades in the LoStone palette. Supplied in a 550ml brush-on bottle, Snowdrop has an overall firing range of 1080°C–1220°C, with reactive characteristics developing between 1120°C and 1220°C.
Developed to complement LoStone clay, Snowdrop can also be used with compatible porcelain and earthenware bodies. It is fully intermixable with other glazes in the LoStone collection and can be layered with other colours, using a maximum of three coats in total. A reusable inner cap provides an additional seal to help prevent leaks and protect the glaze between uses. Always choose a firing temperature suitable for both your clay and glaze, and test your chosen combination on a tile before glazing a finished piece.
