Studio Line Vibes Reactive Top Coat Glazes

Studio Line Vibes reactive glazes are glossy effect top coats designed for use with Milton Bridge stoneware glaze base colours. They create flowing, reactive surfaces with movement, depth and colour variation across pottery and ceramic work.

The Vibes range fires from 1000–1280°C, Cone 06 to Cone 9. At lower temperatures the effects are softer, while higher temperatures encourage more running and movement, especially on vertical or textured pieces. Always test combinations on your chosen clay body and firing schedule before using them on important work.

Firing, Finish & Application

Firing range: Cone 06–9, approximately 1000–1280°C
Finish: glossy reactive effect glaze
Movement: running glaze effects that vary by temperature, base glaze, thickness and surface angle
Best use: top coat over Milton Bridge stoneware glaze base colours, including F301 White and F306 Turquoise
Food safe: when mixed with Studio Line Matt, Bright or Celadon glazes and fired correctly
Application: stir well before use and test all glaze combinations before production work

Vibes glazes are made for layered surface decoration rather than flat single-colour coverage. Use them when you want a reactive top coat that breaks, flows and shifts over a base glaze, producing results that change with each firing setup.
