Glossy Blue Reactive Glaze with Firing-Dependent Colour Variation
Blue Studio Line Vibes Reactive Glaze creates a glossy, flowing surface with pronounced dark-blue definition around raised detail. The supplied 1020°C sample shows a pale blue field framed by deeper blue around the diamond, while the 1220°C example changes considerably, developing softer muted tones through the centre with dark blue remaining around the relief.
Choose Blue when you want reactive contrast that responds visibly to firing conditions rather than a completely uniform blue surface. The Vibes chart also shows distinct 1220°C results when Blue is combined with Clear or White, so test the intended temperature and glaze combination first when you want to reproduce a particular effect across important or batch work.
- Compare the supplied 1020°C and 1220°C samples before selecting the intended firing result.
- Test Blue alone and with Clear or White when exploring the charted glaze combinations.
