Studio Line Brights Stoneware Glazes

Studio Line Brights stoneware glazes are Milton Bridge glossy ceramic glazes for stoneware and porcelain. They create vibrant, opaque colour with a bright fired finish, while F300 Transparent Glossy provides the transparent exception within the range.

These glazes fire across Cone 4–9, approximately 1180–1280°C, and are food safe when fired to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature. They can be fired slowly or quickly without affecting the final result, making them a practical choice for studios, makers and ceramic workshops working across different firing routines.

Firing, Finish & Application

  • Firing range: Cone 4–9, approximately 1180–1280°C
  • Finish: glossy, bright stoneware glaze surface
  • Food safe: when fired to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature
  • Opacity: opaque, except F300 Transparent Glossy
  • Clay bodies: suitable for stoneware and porcelain
  • Application: stir well, then apply by brush, sponge or stamp in 2–3 even coats, allowing each coat to dry before the next

The Studio Line range is intermixable, so Brights can be used with Studio Line Matt glazes for a soft satin look, or with Studio Line Vibes Reactive glazes for more varied surface effects. Always test combinations on your own clay body and firing schedule before using them on important pieces.

Note: Glaze thickness, combinations, clay body and firing conditions can all influence the final fired result, so testing is recommended.
