Clear Glossy Glaze for Layering over Ceramic Colour
Transparent Studio Line Brights Glaze gives stoneware and porcelain a clear, glossy fired surface that keeps underlying colour and decoration visible. Use it as a finishing glaze over ceramic colour or underglaze work when you want to add shine and colour depth without covering the design with an opaque glaze.
Choose Transparent when you want the Brights glossy surface without adding an opaque colour of its own. The Studio Line range is intermixable, allowing Brights to be combined with Studio Line Matt glazes for softer satin effects or Vibes Reactive glazes for more varied surfaces; always test combinations on your own clay body and firing schedule before important pieces.
- Stir well before application.
- Apply 2–3 even coats, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
