Cromartie will be exhibiting at Argillà Italia 2026 — one of the world’s most prestigious international ceramics festivals. Held in the historic city of Faenza, this three-day celebration brings together ceramic artists, makers, and enthusiasts from across the globe.
Located in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, Faenza is internationally renowned for its colourful ceramic heritage dating back to the Renaissance. The town’s long-standing association with majolica — and the origin of the word faïence — makes it the perfect setting for this world-class ceramics event.
Across the weekend, Argillà Italia transforms Faenza’s historic centre into a vibrant celebration of clay. Visitors can stroll through the streets of the city, exploring a large market exhibition featuring over 200 ceramists from around the world, alongside exhibitions, events and performances held across Faenza’s main museums and public spaces.
It is a unique opportunity to discover, meet and experience ceramics in all its forms, right in the heart of one of the world’s historic capitals of ceramic art and craftsmanship.
Highlights include the famous Mondial Tornianti (World Pottery Wheel Championship), live outdoor kiln firings, interactive workshops, children’s activities, and an extraordinary showcase of ceramic artistry from around the world.
Our team will be attending throughout the weekend, meeting ceramicists from across Europe and beyond, sharing our passion for kilns, wheels, tools, and pottery supplies, and taking inspiration from the international ceramics community.
