About Only Clay & Kelham Island

Welcome to Kelham Island Museum mural on the side of a red brick industrial building in Sheffield

At Only Clay, “meet the potters” is more than a slogan – it’s what the weekend is all about. Visitors can talk directly to makers about their processes, influences and firing methods, and discover new work from both established potters and emerging artists. In the evening, the After Show Party at The Mill Owners offers live music and a relaxed chance for potters and visitors to catch up, swap ideas and celebrate a shared love of ceramics.

There’s plenty to explore on the doorstep too. Kelham Island Museum sits in one of Sheffield’s most characterful quarters, with historic industrial buildings, cafés, bars and the museum itself to discover. Find out more about the museum & local area at Sheffield Museums – Kelham Island Museum .
