About Potfest in the City – Glasgow

Potfest in the City Scotland is an unselected show, offering a new opportunity for up-and-coming ceramic artists to exhibit alongside established Potfest makers. Across both halls at The Briggait, you’ll find everything from functional tableware to sculptural and experimental pieces – all created by independent potters.

The venue is a short walk from Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations, with car parking available nearby at NCP King Street (please note the site sits on the edge of Glasgow’s Low Emission Zone). Tickets can be purchased in advance via the Potfest website or on the door, and accompanied under 16’s go free.

The event is held within a historic city-centre building, with mainly level floors but some potentially uneven areas. If you have any questions about access, we recommend contacting the organisers directly so they can advise. As this is an indoor show, only special assistance dogs are permitted inside the venue.
