Potfest in the City Scotland transforms The Briggait – Glasgow’s historic former fish market – into a vibrant, three-day winter ceramics fair. Less than a 15-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, visitors can explore a huge variety of handmade ceramics from both emerging makers and established Potfest regulars, all under cover in the heart of the city.
The Cromartie team will be at Potfest in the City Scotland throughout the show with a trade stand stocked with kilns, bisque, glazes, underglazes, tools and studio essentials. Drop by to chat about setting up or expanding a pottery studio or Paint-Your-Own Pottery studio, or to get advice on kiln choice, firing schedules, glazes and materials for the year ahead. Collecting an Order from Our Trade Stand Place your order online and select collection at checkout, adding a note saying: “Collecting at Potfest in the City Scotland 2026, Glasgow.” We’ll bring it along for you to pick up from our stand during the show.
Due to transport and trade stand space limitations, all orders for event collection must be placed a minimum of three working days before the event.
If you are planning to place a larger order, including pallet quantities, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm transport arrangements and available space at the show.
Potfest in the City Scotland is an unselected show, offering a new opportunity for up-and-coming ceramic artists to exhibit alongside established Potfest makers. Across both halls at The Briggait, you’ll find everything from functional tableware to sculptural and experimental pieces – all created by independent potters.
The venue is a short walk from Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations, with car parking available nearby at NCP King Street (please note the site sits on the edge of Glasgow’s Low Emission Zone). Tickets can be purchased in advance via the Potfest website or on the door, and accompanied under 16’s go free.
The event is held within a historic city-centre building, with mainly level floors but some potentially uneven areas. If you have any questions about access, we recommend contacting the organisers directly so they can advise. As this is an indoor show, only special assistance dogs are permitted inside the venue.
