Buttermilk – Speedball Mid-Fire Glaze 473ml
Bring warmth and natural character to your pottery with
Buttermilk Speedball Mid-Fire Glaze.
This glossy ceramic glaze produces a beautiful warm beige
finish with creamy tones and golden undertones. Subtle
flashes of orange and gold can develop where the glaze
breaks, creating an inviting, earthy appearance that
complements both contemporary and traditional pottery.
Designed for firing at Cone 5/6 in oxidation,
Buttermilk is ideal for adding warmth to hand-built and
wheel-thrown ceramics, particularly pieces with textured
surfaces and decorative details. Use it on its own to
enjoy its soft, natural colouring, or experiment with
layering other Speedball Mid-Fire Glazes to explore
different colour combinations and surface effects.
