Cornflower is a vibrant light blue Speedball Studio Plus glaze, perfect for fresh coastal designs, baby gifts, spring pottery, floral ceramics, cheerful mugs, plates, bowls and decorative pieces that need a clean, uplifting pop of glossy colour.
Part of the Speedball Studio Plus glaze range, Cornflower produces a glossy, vibrant light blue finish at both low-fire and mid-fire temperatures. It can be used individually or mixed with other Studio Plus glazes to create unique custom colours for your ceramic palette.
When fired at Cone 5/6, the light blue colour remains true, although the glaze may move or blend depending on the firing temperature, layering and application thickness. Test tiles are recommended when using glaze combinations at mid-range temperatures.

Fired results may vary depending on application thickness, clay body, glaze combinations and kiln conditions. We recommend testing first when using Cornflower on a new clay body, mixing colours or layering glazes for a mid-fire firing.
