Soft Blush White Mid-Fire Glaze with Pink Fired Variation

Blushing White Speedball Mid-Fire Glaze develops a soft white surface with subtle pink flashes that give the fired colour a gentle blush character. The supplied sample shows a light, understated finish rather than a strong solid pink, making this a useful choice when you want a pale glaze with more warmth and variation than a straightforward white.

Choose Blushing White when you want the pink response to remain delicate or build gradually through additional glaze application. It can also be layered with other Speedball Mid-Fire colours for more varied results. Manufacturer guidance recommends avoiding dark clay bodies, so test the glaze on your chosen clay and firing programme before using it on important work.

Stir thoroughly before use and apply each coat evenly.
For the supplied layering examples, apply two coats of Blushing White over two coats of the chosen base glaze and fire to Cone 6.
Extra coat build can increase the pink response and create a stronger gradient.
