Bright Turquoise Colour for Detailed Ceramic Surfaces
Turquoise 1Fire Glaze produces a classic blue-green fired colour with smooth, semi-transparent coverage. The fresh turquoise tone works well on patterned tiles, carved decoration, textured forms and accent areas where the underlying surface detail remains part of the finished design.
Choose this glaze when you want a brighter blue-green alternative to a standard blue while retaining the lighter visual character of a semi-transparent glaze. It can be applied to bisqueware or suitable bone-dry greenware where a one-fire Cone 06 process is appropriate.
- Use alone for a clean turquoise field or layer with other 1Fire colours for decorative variation
- Resists settling well during regular studio, classroom and workshop use
