Sea-Mist LoStone Clay – Smooth Grey Low-Fire Stoneware (10kg)
Sea-Mist LoStone Clay is a smooth, low-fire grey stoneware body supplied in 10kg bags. At the lower end of its firing range it reveals a soft, cool grey with a gentle blue cast, giving both tableware and decorative work a calm, contemporary character. It delivers true stoneware strength between 1060ºC and 1220ºC while firing at lower temperatures than traditional stoneware bodies.

With its fine, silky texture, Sea-Mist LoStone responds beautifully on the wheel, trims cleanly and releases well from moulds, making it equally suited to throwing, hand-building and casting projects. Vitrifying at around 1160ºC (cone 3), it produces a dense, durable surface that takes glazes, slips and oxides reliably, while the lower maturing temperature helps reduce kiln energy use for studios, schools and teaching workshops looking for an efficient, grey stoneware clay.
