Ember LoStone – Red Low-Fire Stoneware Clay (10kg)
Ember LoStone is a smooth, low-fire red stoneware clay supplied in 10kg bags, with a rich burnt red body and soft salmon tones at the lower end of the firing range. It delivers true stoneware strength between 1060ºC and 1220ºC, making it ideal for expressive wheel-thrown ware, sculptural modelling and casting projects.

With its very smooth, responsive texture, Ember LoStone throws cleanly, trims well and releases crisply from moulds, while the warm red surface provides a characterful base for slips, oxides and a wide choice of glazes. Typically maturing around 1160ºC within its low stoneware range, it helps reduce energy use and is an excellent option for studios, schools and community workshops that want durable stoneware results at lower kiln temperatures.
