Red Terracotta Earthenware Casting Slip is a smooth to medium terracotta casting slip made using regional red clays. Supplied in a 5 litre container, it is ideal for slip casting traditional earthenware forms with a warm red terracotta finish.
This casting slip produces the classic rich “flower pot” terracotta colour associated with traditional earthenware. It has a firing range of 1080°C - 1160°C, with the final colour varying depending on firing temperature. The higher it is fired, the darker the fired colour will become.
