Potfest Suffolk returns to Haughley Park for a brilliant summer weekend of handmade ceramics, set in the parkland around this beautiful Jacobean manor house.

As the first Potfest venue in the East of the country, Haughley Park is located just outside Stowmarket, mid-way between Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. Expect open-sided marquees, a curated line-up of makers, and plenty of inspiration (plus the temptation to buy “just one more pot”… every five minutes).

Visit the Cromartie Stand

Come along and say hello to the Cromartie team on the trade stand. We’ll be exhibiting a selection of kilns, potters wheels, glazes, tools and studio essentials — and we’re always happy to chat through setups for hobby potters, makers and Paint Your Own Pottery studios.

Collecting an Order from Our Trade Stand
Place your order with us online at least three working days before the event, select Collection at checkout, and add a note in the Special Delivery Instructions saying: “Collecting at Potfest Suffolk – Haughley Park”.

Event Collection – Important Information

Due to transport and trade stand space limitations, all orders for event collection must be placed a minimum of three working days before the event.

For larger orders, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm transport arrangements and available space at the show.

Potters’ Competition

At each Potfest show, potters are invited to enter a piece responding to a theme. The theme for the 2026 Potfest events will be announced early in the New Year.

Vote for your favourite on the day for a chance to win a Potfest Passport — free entry to all Potfest events for life.

Visitor Information & FAQs

  • Tickets: Potfest admission tickets are available to buy at the gate each day.
  • Getting there (car): Parking is free at the venue.
  • Getting there (train): The nearest station is Elmswell Station.
  • Trade stands: Cromartie Hobbycraft and other trade stands will be exhibiting – more details are available on the Potfest website.
  • Food & drink: Refreshments are available on site.
  • Payment: Some exhibitors may not be able to process card payments — bring cash and/or a cheque book.
  • Access: This is an outdoor event on uneven ground and grass, which may make movement difficult. If you have concerns, contact the organisers for advice.
  • Dogs: Guide dogs and other well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
