Hand Building Workshop with Sara Adams- Monday 2nd June



What a fun day we had at Cromartie Studio 70 in Stoke-on-Trent on Monday 2nd June for our very first Highland Cow Clay Day with the brilliant potter Sara Adams!


This full-day hand building workshop was a relaxed, beginner-friendly session that gave attendees the perfect opportunity to get hands-on with clay, laugh, learn, and get creative—no experience necessary.

In the morning, everyone learned the basic techniques of clay hand building, and by the afternoon, the studio was buzzing with creativity as each participant sculpted their very own Highland Cow masterpiece to take home and treasure.




We were delighted to welcome a lovely group of potters-to-be! The £75 workshop included:

  • All tools and materials
  • A freshly made buffet lunch
  • Expert tuition from Sara
  • Plenty of giggles and good vibes

A massive thank you to the talented Sara Adams – HSL Pottery for running such a fun and inspiring day. And a special shoutout to our lovely long-time customers Emma, Hilary, Naomi, and Ray—your creativity and energy truly lit up the studio.
