Purple Underglaze for Bisque Painting and Fired Ceramic Detail
Grape Escape Gare Fun Strokes Underglaze gives bisque pottery a purple fired colour for painted decoration, accents, pattern work and creative ceramic colour projects.
Apply to shelf Cone 04 bisque after sponging the ware to remove dust, then cover with clear glaze before firing to shelf Cone 06. Use one coat for a more translucent colour or build with 2–3 coats for opaque coverage. For a close match in the Cromartie Colours range, see Cromartie Purple Cromartie Colours Underglaze.
- Useful for purple fired detail, decorative motifs and larger colour areas on bisque
- Good for building a varied kiln-fired underglaze colour palette
- Let each coat dry before applying the next, and test colour combinations before important pieces
