Purple Gare Fun Strokes Underglazes

Purple Fun Strokes Underglazes bring together purple Gare Fun Strokes undercoat colours for bisque and pottery painting. This colour group is useful for studios, schools and ceramic decorators looking for purple ceramic underglaze shades for painted detail, backgrounds, themed designs and decorative pottery.

Fun Strokes are flexible 2-in-1 underglazes: apply one coat for a translucent finish, or build up 2–3 coats for stronger opaque coverage. They can also be applied light over dark before clear glazing and firing, giving decorators more freedom when layering colour.

Application Guide

Apply to: shelf cone 04 bisque
Preparation: sponge ware to remove dust before decorating
Coverage: 1 coat for translucent colour or 2–3 coats for opaque coverage
Clear glaze: apply clear glaze before firing
Fire to: shelf cone 06
Use for: purple bisque decoration, ceramic underglaze colour and pottery painting

Let each coat dry before adding the next and test colours before using them on important pieces, especially when layering light and dark tones or changing clear glaze and firing conditions.
