C6 Pro Series Crystalline Glazes for Cone 6 Pottery

C6 Pro Series Crystalline Glazes are professional cone 6 crystalline glazes for stoneware and porcelain. They are made for potters, ceramic artists and studios looking for mid-fire crystal-effect finishes with distinctive surface movement and decorative fired patterns.

These glazes are formulated to help minimise running and crazing while still encouraging crystal development during firing. Apply an even layer by dipping, or thin with water for spraying. Thinner layers tend to produce a more matt finish, while thicker layers encourage larger zinc silicate crystals and stronger glaze movement.

For a thicker application, add Powder Gum Arabic as required. Always test on your chosen clay body and firing schedule before using a crystalline glaze on important work.

Application & Firing Guidance

Firing: fire to Cone 6, then drop to approximately Cone 04 to allow crystals to develop
Application: apply by dipping, or thin with water for spraying
