Warm Orange and Blue-Grey Crystalline Effects

Mars Landing C6 Pro Series Crystalline Glaze develops a warm orange-brown ground broken up by blue-grey crystal formations and deeper colour around the rim and lower edges. The contrast between earthy warmth and cooler crystalline areas gives tall vessels, angular forms and simple shapes a strongly defined fired surface.

Choose Mars Landing when you want a more pronounced warm-and-cool contrast than a softly blended or single-colour crystalline glaze. Crystal growth and glaze movement respond to application thickness, clay body and firing conditions, so test the complete combination before important work and follow the supplied firing schedule.

  • Use a glaze catcher or sacrificial support because crystalline glazes can run during firing
  • Record test-piece thickness and firing settings to compare crystal development between firings
  • Add Powder Gum Arabic as required when a thicker application consistency is needed

When returning items to us, please include a note or copy of your sales order or invoice with your goods to enable us to process your refund. We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
