Layered Blue Crystalline Effects for Cone 6 Ceramics

Lapis Lazuli C6 Pro Series Crystalline Glaze develops a muted blue ground with brighter blue crystal formations and warm olive-toned variation around the rim and edges. The coordinated blue-on-blue surface suits tall vessels, broad panels and simple ceramic forms where the glaze can provide the main decorative detail.

Choose Lapis Lazuli when you want visible crystal growth within a cohesive blue palette rather than a sharply contrasting crystalline effect. The balance of colour, crystal size and glaze movement responds to application thickness, clay body and firing conditions, so test the complete combination before important work and follow the supplied firing schedule.

  • Use a glaze catcher or sacrificial support because crystalline glazes can run during firing
  • Record the clay body, application thickness and firing programme when testing to compare crystal development
  • Add Powder Gum Arabic as required when a thicker application consistency is needed

When returning items to us, please include a note or copy of your sales order or invoice with your goods to enable us to process your refund. We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
