Soft Blush and Cream Crystalline Effects for Cone 6
Rose Quartz C6 Pro Series Crystalline Glaze develops a soft blush-beige ground covered with pale cream crystal clusters, with muted mauve-grey variation appearing towards the lower edge. Its gentle, closely related tones suit tall vessels, broad panels and simple ceramic forms where you want visible crystal detail without a strongly contrasting colour combination.
Choose Rose Quartz for a warmer and more understated alternative to dark blue, green or high-contrast crystalline surfaces. Application thickness, clay body and firing conditions influence the crystal pattern and glaze movement, so test the full combination before important work and follow the supplied firing schedule.
- Use a glaze catcher or sacrificial support because crystalline glazes can run during firing
- Keep the application thinner near the foot to help manage downward glaze movement
- Add Powder Gum Arabic as required when a thicker application consistency is needed
