Glaze Technical Support for Pottery & Ceramics

If you’re experiencing ceramic troubleshooting glaze problems with bisque or clay pieces, our Cromartie technical support team is here to help. We provide expert guidance for a wide range of glaze firing problems, including issues with clear glazes, dipping glazes, brush-on glazes, and underglazes. With the right information, many problems can be quickly resolved by email or phone.

Information we need to help you

Please include as much of the following as possible when contacting us:

  • Bisque manufacturer (e.g., Gare, Duncan, Cromartie, or Other)
  • Bisque product code
  • Batch number (printed on side of box)
  • Underglaze used
  • Clear glaze used, including whether it is dipping or brush-on

If the problem relates to clay work rather than bisque, please also include details of the clay type and firing programme. Attaching clear photos of the piece is extremely helpful for diagnosing glaze issues and helping us recommend how to fix glaze faults quickly.
